WEST TISBURY- KERRY ANN QUIGLEY, resident of West Tisbury, Martha's Vineyard passed away on June 29, 2010 surrounded by family after a long courageous battle with breast cancer.
Kerry, born March 2, 1969 was the daughter of Jena (Desmond) Wingood of Martha's Vineyard and William Quigley of Greenville, NH, and mother of Nina Pilar Quigley. Kerry was a much loved daughter, mother, sister, cousin and niece.
She grew up in Chelmsford but chose Martha's Vineyard for her home. Her inquisitive mind and eclectic interests were matched with a keen sense of humor and deep love for family and friends. Kerry was a true renaissance woman, she loved to garden, and she turned her passion for history, auctions and flea markets into an internet business for collectables and antiques.
In addition to her parents and daughter she is survived by her siblings, Nyama Wingood of Austin, TX, Kali Wingood and her daughter Isis Burt, Ram Wingood, all of West Tisbury, Martha's Vineyard, her Aunt Paula (Desmond) Koshiol of Chelmsford, Cousins David and Adam Koshiol of Chelmsford, Lauren May and her husband Richard of Chelmsford, cousin Michelle Sheldrick of Hudson, MA, Aunt Karen Mitchell, cousins Emily and Andrew Mitchell of Lowell, and many more relatives, close and distant whom she loved and remembered in one of her favorite pastimes of sharing memories.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 5:00-8:00 pm at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen St. CHELMSFORD. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9 o'clock on Saturday at St. Mary Church, 25 North Rd. Interment will be private.
