Obituary for Earl W. Quinn

CHELMSFORD - Earl W. Quinn, 82, a resident of Chelmsford, and former Wakefield resident, died unexpectedly Sunday, August 28th at his home. He was the husband of the late Mary (Hall) Quinn who died in 1990.
He was born in Revere on January 13, 1929, and was a son of the late James F. and Ruth (Wilson) Quinn.
He received his education in Wakefield schools and was a graduate of Wakefield High School and Northeastern University.
Earl served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed for many years as an engineer by the former New England Telephone.
Earl was an avid gun enthusiast, especially skeet shooting. He also enjoyed boating.
He was a member of the Wakefield Elks Lodge #1276, the Lowell Sportsmen's Club, and the North Leominster Rod and Gun Club.
He was the brother of the late James F. Quinn and his wife Eleanor Quinn of Lynnfield, the uncle of the late Sandra Becker and her husband Thomas Becker of Chelmsford and Joan Dininno and her husband Robert of Beverly Hills, FL, and the great uncle of Brian and Sean Becker and their families. Visitation will be held at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD on Thursday from 4 until 8pm.
His Graveside Service will be held on Friday at 10 o'clock at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, 185 Lake St., Peabody, MA.
