Condolence From: Andrew and Jean Volis
Condolence: Ray! We were so sorry to hear about the passing of your wife. A friend of our's who knew that you and I were friendly, called me by phone to let me know Tonight. We sold our home in Lowell last year and built an apartment onto my daughters home. The last time I saw you; I planned to get in touch with you; however, poor health prevented me from doing so, I went to the emergency room twice. and then into the Portsmouth hospital to have a stint put into my heart. This year that stint failed in October, and I had to go into the hospital again. The blood thinners make me sick, and I feel cold all of the time.We were supposed to leave for Florida right after Christmas, but Jean and I have not been well since last November. Jean and I really feel bad for your loss, and because we could not meet with you and Jean as we had planned, May god walk with you at this troubled time. This is my daughters computer, but you can e-mail me if you want. God bless, Andy and Jean

Condolence From: Pam Crowley Evans
Condolence: To Jean's family ... Andy and I wish to extend our sincere condolences over the loss of Jean. She was such a great lady and we always enjoyed connecting with her at Crowley family events, chatting about MacDonald history and Nova Scotia. I will always always remember that she thoughtfully sent me a packet of MacDonald family history after one such get together. One of my most cherished family documents was in that packet ... a copy of a 50th wedding anniversary tribute letter written to "Mr and Mrs Alexander MacDonald" (my great grandparents). I never knew my Grandparents, nor Great Grandparents, so having a chance to read about their character, kindness and hospitality was a real gift and I will always think of Jean and the treasure that she shared with me. Again, our heartfelt condolences and prayers. Pam and Andy
