Obituary for Durye Cho Yoon (Cho)

CHELMSFORD- Durye Cho Yoon, 60 a longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Byung Yoon to whom she was married for 32 years.

She was born in Seoul, South Korea on September 7, 1954 a daughter of Na (Kim) Cho of Chelmsford and the late Sung Hak Cho. In 1984, Durye settled in Chelmsford.

Durye owned and operated Angel Cleaners in Chelmsford since 2008, prior to that she owned and operated Sky Cleaners in North Chelmsford for ten years.
Durye was a very active member of St. John’s United Methodist Church in Lexington. There she participated in Bible studies and enjoyed volunteering at church events. She was a wonderful cook and provided many delicious meals and baked goods to her family and friends. Above all, Durye enjoyed the time she spent with her family.

In addition to her loving husband and mother, Durye is survived by a son, Daniel Yoon and his wife Eunjee of Medford, a daughter, Hanna Kim and her husband Yourehan of Burlington, three brothers and a sister, Peter Cho, Joseph Cho, Dae Cho and Yong Shin and many nieces and nephews.

At the request of the family, funeral services will be held privately.

Interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery will be private.
