NATICK – Denise Dorothee (Lebel) Sheahan, 78, recently of Natick and former longtime resident of Lowell & Chelmsford, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the Mary Ann Morse Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Natick.

She was born in Lowell on May 27, 1937 and was a daughter of the late Denis A. and Rita B. (Desrosiers) Lebel.

Prior to her retirement, Denise was employed for many years as a stenciler for Nyes Japenamelac Corp in Chelmsford. She loved cooking and baking and was a prize winning baker in the Lowell area. Denise enjoyed landscape painting and spending time at the ocean. She also looked forward to spending time at the Adult Social Day Program at the Chelmsford Senior Center.

Denise is survived by a son Michael J. Sheahan and his wife Rita of Nashua, NH and daughter Lauriene J. DeAngelo and her husband Joseph of Natick; five grandchildren; Michael, Alyssa, and Colleen DeAngelo, and Caedan and Julia Sheahan; brothers J. Richard Lebel and his wife Doris of S. Attleboro, and Ronald Lebel and his wife Linda of Lowell, and sisters Irene Wagner and her husband Roland of Westford and Pauline Lebel of Nashua. She was the predeceased by her longtime companion Edward St. John.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 12 to 3 pm at the Blake Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11 o’clock at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.

Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, 96 Riverneck Rd., Chelmsford.
