Obituary for Sidney L. Kerr

WILMINGTON – Sidney L. Kerr, 68, a resident of Wilmington, died unexpectedly Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington.

He was born in Lewiston, ME on October 29, 1947, a son of the late Robert S. and Dorothy (Holmes) Kerr. He was a graduate of Reading High School, class of 1967 and earned a bachelor degree in engineering from Northeastern University.

Sidney was self-employed, manufacturing waste water evaporator products. Earlier in his career he was employed by the former New England Nuclear in Billerica.

He was a member of the Lowell Sportsman Club, who had enjoyed sailing and rowing.

Survivors include his son Glenn L. Kerr of Wilmington, as well as his three brothers; James Kerr and his wife Barbara, John Kerr and his wife Jeanne and Bob Kerr.

It being his wish there will be no visitation or services.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Sidney's name may be made to the New England Organ Bank 60 1st Avenue, Waltham, MA 02451.
