My heart is actually hurting right now as I look at Patrick's sweet face & big smile and as I think about what you are experiencing right now. Brian & I also recently lost our beloved 27 year old son & the know the heartbreak and incomprehensible pain of getting that news. I haven't seen you in many years & we don't know you well but I felt compelled to reach out to let you know how very, very sorry we are. It sounds like you raised a wonderful young man with a bright future. What a terrible loss for you but also for the world. May the love of your family & friends sustain you during this time and the difficult days ahead. Condolence: Heidi and Wally, I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. Patrick was such a dear friend of mine when we lived next door. I will never forget the times we spent together as kids; playing in the backyard, "helping" shovel a path between our houses so that we could see each other after a snow storm, birthday parties, pool parties, always smiles and laughter. Those are some of my fondest memories, too many to count, and I will hold onto them forever. My prayers are with you and your family.

I can't even begin to imagine what you are going through. Patrick was the sweetest, most handsome, and most polite young man. My brother, sister, and I would always fight over who would babysit for the Lanes!
