Noel J  Heinrich
CHELMSFORD – Noel J. Heinrich, 87, of Chelmsford, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, April 14, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Evelyn M. (Wellman) Heinrich with whom he would have celebrated 52 years of marriage on May 2, 2016

He was born on December 25, 1928 and was a son of the late Neil E. and Iora (Fitzgerald) Heinrich.

Noel grew up in Watertown and Syracuse, NY and was a graduate of Holy Family High School in Watertown, NY. After graduating from Syracuse University in 1955 with a degree in Industrial Design, Noel was employed by Raytheon Corporation in Wayland and Bedford, MA before moving to Wang Laboratories until his retirement. As a young man he liked to ski and enjoyed tennis and golf. Noel was an artist at heart and had a talent for oil painting and woodworking. He taught CCD at St. Mary Parish in Chelmsford where he was a faithful parishioner.

In addition to his loving wife, Evelyn, Noel is survived by their sons; Mark R. Heinrich and his wife Julie of Groton, Philip N. Heinrich and his wife Tara of Parker, CO, and Kurt S. Heinrich of Chelmsford; and grandchildren; Kasey and Ryan Heinrich of Groton and Jack and Samuel Heinrich of Parker, CO. He also leaves his brothers and sisters-in-law; Robert and Estelle Wellman of Kennebunk, ME, Arline Cooper of Bellingham, MA, Richard Wellman of Milford, MA and Jean Heinrich of Lakeland, FL; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. He was the brother of the late Neil Heinrich.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 2 to 6 PM at the Blake Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11 o’clock at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.

Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Noel’s memory to Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack St., Bldg. 9, Lawrence, MA 01843 or to The St. Mary Capital Improvement Fund, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford, MA 01824.
