Obituary for Charles A. Gray
WINDHAM, NH- Charles A. Gray, 89, a resident of Windham, NH and a former resident of Chelmsford, MA passed away on April 14, 2016 at the Pleasant Valley Nursing Center in Derry, NH following a period of declining health. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth (Baker) Gray.
Born in Chelmsford on August 4, 1926, he was a son of the late Earl M. and Pauline M. (Potter) Gray.
Charles served in the United States Army from 1944 until his honorable discharge in 1946. He was a former parishioner of Central Congregational Church in Chelmsford.
He is survived by his daughter, Sharyn Findlay and her husband, Arthur of Windham, NH; three grandchildren, Hope Gagne and her husband David of Chester, NH, Erin Foley and her husband Ed of Bow, NH, Meg Couture and her husband Nicholas of Litchfield, NH; seven great grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Gray of Nashua, NH. He was the brother of the late Donald Gray.
It being his request, funeral services will be held privately.
