Harriet T  Daly (Clark)
LOWELL – Harriet T. (Clark) Daly, 104, a longtime resident of Lowell, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Sunny Acres Nursing Home with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late John W. Daly with whom she shared 51 years of marriage until his death in 1988.

She was born in Lowell on February 4, 1912 and was a daughter of the late John and Bridget (McAndrews) Clark.

Harriet was a devoted mother to her eight children. She had been a communicant of St. Margaret Parish in Lowell where she was also a member of the Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality. Harriet lived a long and wonderful life and her family will miss her dearly.

Harriet is survived by her children; Harriet Cares of Shelbyville, TN, Jane Brunetta and her husband, John, of Sterling, Helen Leary and her husband, William, of Chelmsford, Michael Daly and his wife, Linda, of The Villages, FL, and Barbara Kiloski and her husband, Victor, of Tyngsboro, a daughter-in-law Anne Daly of Dracut, sister Patricia Gillick of Hampton, NH, and sister-in-law Mary Creegan of Chelmsford. She also leaves 17 grandchildren; Beth Smith, Chuck and James Cares, Kristin Daly, Chuck, Michael and Danny Pappas, Billy Daly, Julie Suech, Jay and Kara Brunetta, Courtney Cooper, James Leary, Matthew and Melissa Daly, Lindsay Knox, and Brian Kiloski, 26 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Harriet was predeceased by her children; John Daly and his wife Maureen, Mary Pappas and her husband, Charles, and William Daly.

Visitation will be held on Monday from 8:00 to 9:30 AM at the Blake Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 o’clock at St. Margaret Parish, 374 Stevens St., Lowell followed by interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Lowell.
