Beverly V  Parker (Cochrane)
Beverly Viola (Cochrane) Parker, 84, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away at her home on Tuesday, July 05, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late Lester Parker who died in 2006.

She was born in Lowell on March 21, 1932 and was the daughter of the late W. Earle and Viola M. (Badmington) Cochrane.

Beverly was a graduate of Lowell High School, class of 1950. After graduation, she worked for the Chelmsford Newsweekly, Atlantic Parachute Company in Lowell, and as a lunch aide for the Chelmsford Public Schools. As a young girl, Beverly was active in the Rainbow Girls Organization, later becoming a member of the Rainbow Girls Mothers Club. Most recently, she was a volunteer at All Saints Thrift Shop and loved crafts and craft fairs. Beverly was most proud of raising her children and found great joy in all of their accomplishments.

Beverly is survived by her children; Robert Parker and his wife Annmarie Roark of Chelmsford, Cynthia Gavriel and her husband Ted of Tyngsboro, David Parker of Dunstable, Suzanne Starr and her husband Stephen of Colorado and Arizona, Douglas Parker and his wife Darlene of Chelmsford, Jeffrey Parker and his wife Judy of Townsend, and Kimberly Parker of Nashua. She also leaves her grandchildren; Amy (Parker) and her husband Steve Norander, Elizabeth (Parker) and her husband Gilbert “Coe” Kittredge, Jessica Parker and her fiancée Michael D’Angelo, Heather Parker, Kerry Parker, Stephanie Parker, Jacob Parker, and Justin Parker, great-grandchildren; Peter Kittredge, Bennett Kittredge and Zachary Norander, her sister-in-law; Mildred McAulay, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held for family and friends on Thursday at 10:30 AM at Pine Ridge Cemetery, 130 Billerica Rd., Chelmsford.
