Obituary for Margaret M Eblan (Meagher)
DRACUT – Margaret M. “Peggy” (Meagher) Eblan, 83, of Dracut, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016 at Lowell General Hospital.
She was born in Boston on October 16, 1932 and was a daughter of the late Edward Meagher and the late Margaret M. (Allen) Freni.
Peggy was a graduate of South Boston High School and was employed as a CNA at Sunny Acres for over 25 years. She loved to socialize with her many friends at the Dracut Senior Center. Peggy’s greatest joy in life was her family, especially her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by three children; Deanna Bullock and her husband Raymond of Litchfield, NH, Cheryl A. Smith of Goshen, KY, and George M. Eblan of Covington, KY, six grandchildren; Brianna Bullock, Christopher Bullock, Russell Smith, Ashley Smith and her husband Timothy, Jack Eblan and Joseph Eblan, and two great-grandchildren; Jaylin Smith and Dexton Smith. She also leaves a sister Barbara Ward of South Boston and her former husband and lifelong friend George Eblan. Peggy was the sister of the late Edward Meagher.
Visitation on Thursday from 8:30 to 10:30 am at the Blake Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 o’clock at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford.
Interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Peggy’s name may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
