Condolences

Condolence From: Professor Kathleen Murphy
Condolence: On behalf of the Cambridge College community, please accept our deepest sympathies on the loss of your beloved Anne. It was a pleasure and a privilege to have her as a student in our ESL masters program. She was intelligent, inquisitive and compassionate and she inspired us all with her dedication and enthusiasm for teaching and learning. Anne was exactly the kind of quality individual who is so vitally important to the teaching profession. She will now be our advocate in Heaven and will continue to bless us all with her grace and love.

Condolence: To the family of Anne,
Anne was a remarkable women of great integrity and compassion. Her smile was contagious and her wit was infectious. She inspired me in learning how her students gained confidence with the knowledge and caring support she provided. She will be remembered by her students for her kindness and encouraging manner. She was a true colleague who touched my life and all of those who were fortunate to have known her.
Her lovely spirit will live forever in all of our hearts.

Condolence: Anne was our wonderful neighbor across the street. She always greeted you with an infectious beautiful smile. Anne was kind, caring and took time to chat with you. A genuine human being that made you feel good. We will miss her immensely but will never forget her. We know her husband John and son John will carry on her legacy.

Condolence: Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the tragic loss of dear Anne who was beloved by all who were fortunate to know her. The saying "To know her is to love her" certainly applied to her. When someone as sweet, kind, and gentle as Anne passes, the world is a lesser place as we are all left to grieve her absence in whatever capacity we were blessed to have her in our lives. Of course, for her entire family ~ especially John, John Jr., and her mom ~ the loss is immeasurable. I was privileged to be one of Anne's colleagues (we both taught ESL at different schools but enjoyed our ESL Team meetings & trainings and cherished ANY free time we got to spend together) and blessed to become one of her friends - quite quickly and easily. The only thought that perhaps can somewhat ease the pain is knowing that Anne's suffering has finally ended. For those she left behind, it has just begun. Truthfully, it surely began as soon as it became evident that she was not going to win her extremely courageous battle ~ no matter what painful treatments she fearlessly endured. Anne would have been the one with the perfect words and the loving support to get her family and friends through a heartbreaking loss like this. Unfortunately, those who loved her are left behind with a hole in our hearts (obviously some holes much greater than others) that she will have to heal, slowly but surely, as an Angel in Heaven instead of the Angel on Earth that she truly was for much too short a time. May she rest in the peace she so dearly deserves. All my love & prayers! Kathie M.

Condolence: I am so very sorry to learn of Anne's passing. Ann and I were Holy Cross classmates (1986!) and fellow soccer players for Holy Cross :)
My memories of Anne are fond - she loved soccer and her kindness to me, especially when I was very homesick my first semester, I hold dear in my heart. I still see Anne smiling on the soccer field, despite the exhausting drills and sprints ! Rest my friend. Love, Susan Grady

Condolence: Dear John and John, I am so sorry for your loss. Anne touched many lives during her time at SHC. Your love and dedication to Anne was a source of inspiration and I hope you both find comfort in knowing that Anne always felt your love. Young John, your mom lit up every time we talked of you. She was so proud of you and was excited about your future. Take good care, John Horras

Condolence: I find myself at a complete and utter loss of what to say. I have wonderful memories of our childhood on Glen Ellen Rd. Wiffle Ball games in your backyard, Ultimate Frisbee on that huge hill, and listening to Beatles on 8-track on the steps. I cannot fathom the loss for you Jackie, your Mom and your brother as well as her son and husband, you will all be in my thoughts and prayers. I know heaven has just received another angel, but the we have lost one as well. Rest In Peace Annie
