Robert "Bob"  Laflamme
DRACUT - Robert P. LaFlamme, 73, of Dracut, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. He was the beloved husband of Louise J. (Hardy) LaFlamme with whom he would have celebrated 52 years of marriage on August 22nd.

He was born in Lowell on December 14, 1942 and was a son of the late Weldon H. and Edna Florida (Mercier) LaFlamme.

Robert grew up in Lowell and earned his Bachelor's Degree from Bentley College. He served in the Yankee Division of the National Guard.

Robert was a parishioner of the former St. Jeanne d'Arc parish in Lowell where he served on the Parish Council and the Parish Finance Committee. He was active with the Cub Scouts and enjoyed his time as Awards Chairman. Robert was a member of the Town Travelers Square Dance Club. He enjoyed camping across the United States and Canada and traveling all over the world. Most of all, Robert loved spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his loving wife, Robert is survived by his sons, Marc R. E. LaFlamme and David P. A. LaFlamme; grandchildren: Michael and Heather Hamelin, Charles and Christopher Arseniou-LaFlamme, Zachary, Ellen and Isabella Cornier, and great-grandchildren: Mikey, Xander, and Mia. He also leaves a sister Elaine T. Bissonnette and her husband Ralph, and a sister-in-law Mary LaFlamme and her husband Paul Desmarais and numerous nieces and nephews. Robert was pre-deceased by his brother Weldon L. LaFlamme and his sister Estelle Hand and her husband James Hand.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm at the Blake Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford.

A second visitation will be held on Monday from 10 to 11 am at St. Mary Magdalen Parish Church, 95 Lakeview Avenue, Tyngsboro, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock.

Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
