Jonathan R.  Ard
Jonathan Ard of Chelmsford, MA died unexpectedly on August 23th, 2016 at the age of 38.

Jonathan is survived by his wife Beth Brdlik; his son Riley and daughter Juliette; his father and mother Harold and Frances (Taylor) Ard of Portland, OR; his brother Tony of Portland, OR; and his brother Daniel of Nashville, TN.

Jonathan was born on January 1, 1978 in St. Cloud, MN. As a youth he lived in Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Egypt, Kentucky and Mississippi. Jonathan graduated from Oberlin College in 2000 with a double major in Computer Science and Philosophy. He earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from Boston University in 2009.
While at Oberlin, Jonathan met Beth Brdlik and they married in 2008 in New Hampshire.

Jonathan spent his professional career in the high tech industry focused on information security. He was an avid learner. In addition to his formal education he taught himself guitar, bass and foreign languages. Jonathan achieved a black belt in karate and was an avid sports fan. Above all he was devoted to his family of Beth, Riley, and Juliette. He was a loving husband and a dedicated, energetic father.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, August 29, 2016 from 4 to 8 pm at the Blake Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jonathan's life.

Funeral Services and interment will be private.
