Obituary for Katelyn A. Shaw-Dupras

Katelyn A. Shaw-Dupras
Katelyn A. Shaw Dupras, 29, a resident of Tyngsboro passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 12, 2016, with family and close friends by her side. Katelyn was born on May 15, 1987 to her parents David and Lory (Curseaden) Shaw of Tyngsboro, MA.

Katelyn was a wonderful person with a smile that could light up the room. She grew up in Tyngsboro, MA and was a graduate of the class of 2005. She loved spending time with close family, friends, playing high school field hockey, and listening to music. Katelyn had 25 years of perfect attendance at the North Chelmsford Congregational Church where she also taught Sunday school. Katelyn always had such a love for children and it seemed they were always drawn to her warm, caring nature. She always made sure everyone felt included and special, no matter who you were or where you were from. Katelyn’s favorite time spent was with her children. Whether it was cheering on Paige at soccer and softball games, building creative Lego sets with Caleb, or making sure their birthdays and holidays were extra special, her children were her brightest stars. Katelyn will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. She will always be our dragonfly angel.

In addition to her loving parents, Katelyn is survived by her children, Paige and Caleb Dupras, her sister Courtney (Shaw) Proulx and her husband Craig of Hudson, NH, her sister Sarah Shaw of Merrimack, NH, her brother David Shaw and his wife Jennieanne of Merrimack, NH, her niece and nephews, many loving cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and her grandmother. Katelyn is predeceased by her husband Jonathan Dupras.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 9 until 11am at the Blake Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., CHELMSFORD. Interment to follow in Tyngsboro Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the North Chelmsford Congregational Church, 15 Princeton St, North Chelmsford, MA, 01863.
