Henry Lewis "Hank"  Wilson
Henry L. Wilson, Former GE Executive, 1920-2016

NEW HAMPSHIRE-Henry Lewis Wilson ( Hank ) age 96, a resident of Chelmsford, MA from 1952 to 2010 and Manchester NH since 2010. He was born on June 5, 1920 in Johnstown NY.

After serving in the Navy during WW II, he began his career with the General Electric Co in Schenectady NY. He held a degree in Chemical Engineering from Pratt Institute and was a registered professional engineer. He was a former faculty member at the Bridgeport, CT Engineering Institute. He served in various management positions at GE culminating with manager of product engineering at GE’s Lowell Wire and Cable Plant ending with his retirement after 43 years of service.

He was a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers as well as the American Chemical Society. He served on several technical committees of Underwriters Laboratories in the USA and the Canadian Standards Association in Canada. He was a member of the Ancient York Masonic Lodge and belonged to the Vesper Country Club for 50 years.

Hank was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years Laura Wilson two years ago. He is survived by his sons Richard Wilson and his wife Janice, Joel Wilson and his wife Cynthia and his daughter Susan Wheeler and her husband Joseph. Also his grandchildren, Stephanie Wilson, Corey Riley, Ashley Wheeler, Jenny Paquin and Nicholas Wheeler. Also his great grand children, Devon Malik, Jahkyse Wilson and Olivia Laura Riley.

A memorial service will be held at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen St., CHELMSFORD, MA at 1:00 PM on Friday Oct. 28, 2016, immediately followed by burial at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford MA.
