CHELMSFORD - John M. DiFronzo, 75, a longtime Chelmsford resident, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2016 following a long illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Sheila C. (Beasley) DiFronzo who died in 2005.

He was born in Boston on January 18, 1941 and was the son of the late John H. and Ruth (Melvin) DiFronzo.

John was a graduate of Northeastern University with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and was employed as a packaging engineer for Polaroid Corporation for over 40 years. In his retirement he enjoyed Swing Dancing and volunteering for the Chelmsford VNA.

John is survived by his children; Mark W. DiFronzo of Webster, Christine M. DiFronzo of Hingham and Shelly DiFronzo of West Boylston, and grandchildren; Alyssa, David, Ryan, and Jake. He also leaves a sister Patricia Daw of Eldorado, AR.

Visitation on Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at the Blake Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday at 10:00 at Pine Ridge Cemetery, 130 Billerica Rd., Chelmsford.
