Mary Patricia "Pat"  McClosky
Mary Patricia (Bevis)(Perry) McClosky, age 80 of Chelmsford, MA passed away on January 9, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late William Perry.

Pat was born March 17, 1936 in Cambridge, MA, one of eleven children born to Walter and Marjorie Bevis, originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia. She spent her childhood years in Billerica, MA. In 1955, Pat and her husband Bill moved to Chelmsford where they raised their eight children. She worked for BASF in Bedford, MA for more than 20 years.

Pat was a life-long, devoted member of Central Baptist Church in Chelmsford, MA. She was an avid reader, enjoyed listening to music and was always ready to dance. She loved walking, baking for family and friends, and feeding the birds. She was a faithful friend to many and could always be counted on to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Family was everything to Pat and they cherished her.

She is survived by her children Susan Paquin of Amherst NH, Sheryl Porter of Derry NH, Joanne Burger of Ft. Myers FL, Brenda Fitzpatrick of Dracut MA, Pamela Perry of Chelmsford MA, and David Perry of Tyngsboro MA. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Pat is predeceased by her daughter, Janet Berube formerly of Westford, MA, her son Brian Perry formerly of Chelmsford, MA, her grandson Christopher Conlin, and great grandson Donovyn Bashford.


Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 11, 2017 from 4 until 7 PM in the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD. Her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday morning at 11:30 AM in Journey Church on the Common (Formerly Central Baptist Church), 9 Academy Street, CHELMSFORD. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat’s name may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 18 Orchard View Drive, Unit 4, Londonderry, NH 03053.
