Obituary for Richard Antone Dias

Richard Antone  Dias
PEPPERELL - Richard Antone Dias, of Pepperell, formerly of Westford passed away unexpectedly at his home, January 31, 2017. He was fifty three years old.

Rich was born in Dorchester the son of Brenda (Stokes) Dias and the late Richard L. Dias. One of three children, he was raised and educated in Westford and attended Nashoba Valley Technical High School, graduating with the class of 1982. Rich was a passionate fly fisherman. A true outdoorsman, Rich made many fishing trips throughout New England, New York and Montana.

Rich is survived by his wife Renee McMurray and his two children, Matthew Dias and his wife Lindsey of Utah and Kirstin Simons and her husband Andrew of Colorado. He was the grandfather of Savina and Julian. Rich also leaves his mother Brenda Dias of Westford, his brothers, Jonathan Dias and his wife Deborah and Brian Dias and his wife Kelly all of Hudson, NH, his nephew Jonathan and his wife Kate and their children Jake and Emma. Rich was the uncle of Ashley, Janelle and Tyler. Sadly, Rich was predeceased by his father Richard L. Dias.

He was dearly loved by his family & friends and will be greatly missed by all.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sunday, February 5th from 9:00-11:00 am in the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen Street, Chelmsford.

Funeral Services and interment will be private.
