Obituary for Francis L. Clancy

Francis L.  Clancy
Francis L. Clancy of Chelmsford died on Sunday February 12, 2017 at Town and Country Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. He was the widower of Margaret G. (Walsh) Clancy.

Born in Lowell, He was the son of the late Arthur F. and Cecile A. (Picard) Clancy.

He attended Lowell schools and graduated from Lowell High School.

During World War II, Mr. Clancy served in the United States Navy. Prior to retirement, Mr. Clancy was a central office technician with Nynex in Lowell and Lawrence for more than 30 years. He was a long time resident of Chelmsford and a member of St. Mary Parish in Chelmsford.

He was survived by his dear friends and caregivers, Linda and Peter Decker and their family.

It being his request, funeral services were held privately under the care of Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen Street, Chelmsford, MA 01824.
