Thomas F.  Driscoll
Thomas F. Driscoll, a longtime Chelmsford resident, formerly of Melrose and Deltona, FL, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 2, 2017 at Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Chelmsford at the age of 102. He was the beloved husband of the late Alyce R. (Donahue) Driscoll with whom he celebrated 64 years of marriage at the time of her death in 2004.

Born in Malden on May 3, 1914, he was a son of the late Thomas F. and Anne L. (Mulligan) Driscoll.
For many years, Tom was employed as a Plant Manager and Purchasing Agent for West Lynn Creamery. Tom made many friends in his lifetime and had a special crew affectionately referred to as the "Dunkin Donut Club" who met up every day for years and chatted about life. He enjoyed oil painting and gardening. Of all of the pastimes in the world, there was none greater to him than spending time with his family. Thomas was a parishioner of St. Mary Parish in Chelmsford.

He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law, Sheila B. and John Riley of Chelmsford and Karen Werner of Magnolia; five grandchildren, Shaun Riley, Colleen Hughes and her husband George, Erika Whitters and her husband James, Gretchen Werner, Darlene Watkins and her husband Ray; nine great grandchildren, Thomas, Morgan, Michaela, Stephanie, Ryan, Ireland, Caitlin, Alexander and Gwendolyn. Also survived by two step-grandchildren, Edward L. Werner and his wife Emily, Alexandria Werner and eight step great grandchildren, Matthew, Christopher, Barbara, Isabella, Madeline, Edward R, Lucy and Posie. He is predeceased by his son-in-law, Edward R. Werner, two sisters Mary Downing and Louise Jones and his granddaughter Tara L. Riley.

Visitation will be held on Friday March 10, 2017 from 10- 11:30 AM in the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD.

His Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, MEDFORD.
