Obituary for Hollis Elizabeth "Holly" Ferguson (Hedison)
NEBRASKA - Hollis "Holly" E. (Hedison) Walker Ferguson, 53, of Omaha, Nebraska, formerly of Chelmsford, died Monday, March 6th after a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of Kevin H. Ferguson.
Holly was born in Lowell, daughter of the late Kazar and Beverly (Barsorian) Hedison. She was a graduate of Chelmsford High School, class of 1981. She furthered her education, completing a master's degree in elementary education and history. Holly had a passion for history and was a voracious reader. She also taught Sunday School at Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Church. Holly moved to Nebraska over ten years ago where she resided with her family.
Holly is lovingly survived by her husband, Kevin H. Ferguson and her two children Alexander Walker of Chelmsford and Olivia Walker of Nebraska. She also leaves her mother Beverly Barsorian Hedison and her two brothers Bruce Hedison and David Hedison, both of Boston. Holly leaves three treasured cousins, Lynne Lipinsky, Mary Banian Sylvain and Janet Barsorian.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 11th at 10:30 AM in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Church 180 Old Westford Rd, Chelmsford.
Burial will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford. There are no visiting hours.
