Mildred LaRock
Mildred J. (Wheeler) LaRock, a longtime Chelmsford resident, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 17th. She was 91 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles N. LaRock Sr. who passed away in 1980.

Mildred was born in Lowell, daughter of the late Charles and Ruth (Corr) Wheeler. She worked for 25 years as a Para Professional in the Chelmsford School Department where she is remembered fondly. Prior to her retirement she worked in the Center School and later on in the Westlands. Additionally, she continued to serve her community working as a precinct worker for many years. Mildred was a welcomed part of the Tuesday Lunch Group with whom she shared many memories. She also had a passion for knitting and creating many wonderful keepsakes. She was a faithful and dedicated communicant of St. Mary Church. Mildred's family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Sunny Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation Center as well as Dr. David Pickul and the Mill City Medical Group for their unending care, love and support.

Mildred is survived by her three children, Charles LaRock of Chelmsford, Richard LaRock and his wife Lu of Hudson, NH and Marcia Walsh and her husband Tom of Tyngsboro. She was the beloved grandmother of Richard LaRock Jr., Adam LaRock, Kate Welles, Kim Newby and Dave Walsh. and great-grandmother of 7 great-grandchildren. She also leaves a brother, Albert Wheeler of Lowell, a sister, Doris Wheeler of Chelmsford and a dear niece, Sheila Wheeler.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Tuesday, March 21st from 4:00-7:00pm in the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 22nd at 9:00am in St. Mary Parish, 25 North Road, CHELMSFORD. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH.

Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford.
