Obituary for Rose Irene Irene Foss
CHELMSFORD – Rose Irene (Todd) Foss, 91, of Chelmsford, formerly of Marblehead, passed away on April 27, 2017 at Sunny Acres Nursing Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Jack Foss, Jr.
She was born in Atlantic City, NJ on September 9, 1925 and was a daughter of the late David and Rose M. Todd.
Irene grew up in Melrose. She was employed by Boston Edison for many years. After her retirement, she worked alongside her husband, Jack, in the Lynn Marine Supply store. In her leisure time, Rose loved to spend time with family, dance, listening to music and all outdoor sports.
Irene is survived by one sister Barbara Siebert of Chelmsford, a niece Davene Ceranna, and her great niece and nephew Nicole and Craig Ceranna, and members of the extended Foss family.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 2 to 4 PM at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford.
Burial will be private.
