Harold A. Linstad, Jr., 74, a lifetime Chelmsford resident, passed away on Tuesday June 27, 2017 at Mass General Hospital. He was the husband of Barbara L. (Medico) Linstad of Chelmsford who survives him.

Born in Lowell, MA on August 8, 1942 he was the only child born to Harold A. Linstad, Sr. and Alice A. (Clarke) Linstad.

Harold worked for many years as a data service manager for the former BayBank and retired in 1997. Most recently he was the proprietor of a trucking company. He was very hardworking and was a fan of auto racing. He held membership in the Westford Rod & Gun Club.

In addition to his wife, Harold is survived by his sons and their spouses, Eric A. Linstad and Deborah Marai of Chelmsford, Jeffrey H. Linstad and his wife, Janice of Nashua, NH; 2 grandchildren, Abigail and Alexander Linstad.

Relatives and friends may call at the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD from 9 until 10:30 am on Wednesday July 5, 2017. His Funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM in St. Mary Church, 25 North Road, CHELMSFORD. Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery.
