Condolence: There are a lot of things I will always remember about Memos, far too many to write about. I will say that his dark eyes would not show his gentle and playful nature. This dominates how I remember him, joking and laughing much more than the average person. He was also great at listening to people- a rare trait. I never saw him be mean to anyone, and he treated people with dignity. Some of his sayings may seem trivial, but they have stuck with me "a can of corn" ,"as the crow flies" and the ever present "I see said the blind man as he picked up his cane and left". The man who once dubbed me the cream puff during a joint family road trip to Vegas via cb radio. The man who shouldn't have listened to my dad about how 8 track tapes were going to be the hot new technology and had one installed in his car. Whatever rewards come in the next life, Memos has certainly earned them. Kind thoughts and wishes to those who are grieving.
