Mary "Marie" Theresa (Williams) Traywick, passed away peacefully at her home on August 15, 2017 at the age of 92, surrounded by her family.

Marie was born in Boston on June 17, 1925, and grew up in Charlestown, the eldest daughter of the late Edward and Mary “Mae” (Conroy) Williams. Marie married Carlton Russell "Russ" Traywick on February 5, 1945, who passed away in 1988.

They had a large family and she enjoyed spending time in the company of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Marie had extremely close relationships with her siblings and children, and over the years many precious memories were made with family and friends in Maine, at Lake Winnipesaukee, in Florida and at the back yard pool. She was also an avid reader, as well as enjoying various games, puzzles, and handcrafts throughout the years.

Marie is survived by her children; Edward "Butch" Traywick, Bernard Traywick, Diana Walgreen and her husband, Jeffrey, Judy Jalbert and her husband, Erwin, Carlton "Russ" Traywick, Jr. and his wife, Cathy, Christine Traywick, and Cynthia Fryns and her husband, Paul; as well as 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her siblings; Anne Makarevich, Daniel Williams, Margaret Amigo and Theresa O'Brien. Marie is sadly predeceased by her daughter Mary "Marie" Juedes and her husband Gary, her daughter-in-law Gail Traywick, her daughter-in-law Pamela Traywick as well as her siblings; Thomas Williams, Harriet Magro, Rev. Edward Williams, OMI, Paul Williams, David Williams and Michael Williams.

Visitation will be held Monday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM in the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD.

Her Funeral will be held from the funeral home on Tuesday at 10 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 11 AM at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Road, CHELMSFORD. Interment will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery, CHELMSFORD.

For those who wish, in lieu of flowers donations in loving memory of Marie may be made to the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, c/o 486 Chandler Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876.
