The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Victor DeMarines can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Pat Antkowiak
Condolence: Uncle Vic always had a smile and a kind word for me, but we also shared a common career path in defense and technology. I really loved that I had a nice bond with a Uncle Vic because of that. It was always great to find about common contacts and connections. Along with Donna, my thoughts and prayers go to Aunt Dorothy, Victor, Linda, Melinda, Hank, Mark and the grandchildren.

Love,
Pat and Donna

Condolence From: Rod Olson
Condolence: With deepest sympathies to your family. I am the oldest son of Mary Lou Bernini Olson of Black Lick. I wish you peace and may the wonderful memories you have provide you with comfort and support going forward.

My Mother was a cousin of Charlotte's (my granddad was Louie Bernini, Charlotte's Dad's brother). Victor was certainly an accomplished man and I remember how proud Charlotte was of him when I would see her during visits with my Mother back in Black Lick. With love from a distant cousin. (I read of Victor's passing in the Indiana Gazette).

Condolence: This man was by far the nicest and sincere CEO I ever worked with. I only filled in a few times up in rug row but he would talk to everyone in the hallway and eat lunch in the cafe with all the employees. Mentor, leader, great human. You will be missed Vic!
