Roland F  Boisvert
Roland F. Boisvert, 79, a resident of Chelmsford since 1965, passed away from Alzheimer's Disease on September 4, 2017. He was the loving husband of Diane L. (Pariseau) Boisvert with whom he would have celebrated 57 years of marriage on October 15th.

In addition to his beloved wife Diane, Roland is survived by his four children; Susan E. Boisvert of North Carolina, Barbara A. Finck and her husband Ralph E. Finck, Jr. of North Andover, Laura J. Gross and her husband Andrew L. Gross of Florida, and Brian J. Boisvert and his wife Dawn M. Boisvert of California, six grandchildren; Eileen and Christopher Finck, Ryan and Sarah Gross and Avery and Colin Boisvert. He also leaves his sister in-law Estelle B. Pariseau of Chelmsford.

Born in Southbridge on October 14, 1937, he was the son of the late Francis W. and Maria (Lavallee) Boisvert.

Roland was a longtime communicant of St. Mary Church in Chelmsford. He was an active member of the church folk group for many years, where he enjoyed singing and playing guitar. Music and woodworking were two of his favorite hobbies.

He was educated at Merrimack College, earning a BS in electrical engineering and later attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute where he earned an MS in electrical engineering.

Roland worked for various companies over the years. He worked as both an electrical engineer and a technical writer. Prior to retiring, he was a self employed technical writing contractor.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, September 11, 2017 from 4-7 pm in the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen St., CHELMSFORD.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 o'clock at St. Mary Church, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford. KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH.
