Obituary for Michelle J Pappas (Romprey)

Michelle J Pappas (Romprey)
WESTFORD-Michelle J. (Romprey) Pappas, a longtime Westford resident, passed away on September 6, 2017 at Massachusetts General Hospital following a courageous 18 month battle with Cancer. She was the loving wife of Alexander N. Pappas of Westford with whom she celebrated 25 years of marriage in August. They met in 1990 and were wed two years later at the Greek Orthodox church in Woburn.

Born in Winthrop, MA on September 16, 1964, she was a beloved daughter of Lucille "Ginger" (Guarnera) Loadman of Delray Beach, FL and the late James Loadman. As a child Michelle was often known for her beauty, smarts, Boston toughness, and sharp wit.

In addition to her husband and mother, Michelle is survived by her sons, Alex and Nikos, also both of Westford. She was a caring and supportive mother, who wanted the best for her sons, and had a profound effect on the young men they have grown into.

Michelle was most recently employed as a Channel and Partner Manager at Veeam Software Company. She returned to work after 10 years of being a full-time mother, and had flourished in her career. Her gift for cultivating relationships was a boon for the companies she worked for and helped her grow her coworkers and customers into friends and confidants.

Her friends and family were paramount in her life and she often felt those groups were one in the same. She was generous and warm-hearted both with gifts, kind words, and her steadfast support. She was charitable by nature having helped many people in her lifetime. She felt most at home by the water whether it be poolside or along the shore. Michelle was happiest in the sun, surrounded by friends, family, and lively conversation (and a cocktail).

In addition to her husband, mother, and sons, Michelle is survived by: her brother, Leon Romprey and his wife, Judi Chiavetti of Arlington; their children Matthew and Addison; her mother-in-law, Thalia Pappas of Bedford, MA; her sister-in-law, Kali Girardi and her husband Mark Girardi of North Andover, and their children, Nicholas and Marissa; brother in-law, Theodore Pappas of Westford and his children, Olivia and Jack. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended relatives, as well as countless close friends, colleagues and neighbors with whom she shared so many happy memories. She was the sister of the late Danielle Loadman.

Relatives and Friends are invited to her visitation to be held on Friday September 8th from 4 PM to 8 PM in the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen Street, Chelmsford.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on the morning of Saturday, September 9th at 9 am in St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish, 107 North Main Street, WESTFORD.

KINDLY MEET AT CHURCH.

Interment will be held privately.
