Obituary for Donna L. McKeon (Curseaden)

Donna L. (Curseaden) McKeon, 65, a longtime Tewksbury resident passed away peacefully on Saturday October 7, 2017. She was the beloved wife of James R. McKeon, Jr. of Tewksbury.

Born in Cocoa Beach, FL on June 26, 1952, she was a daughter born to the late Allen and Arlene (Martin) Curseaden.

Donna was a wonderful person with a sincere presence that everyone adored. She loved spending time with friends and family, decorating for every holiday, and celebrating family traditions. She enjoyed date nights with her husband, weekend afternoons shopping with the girls, and snuggles with her dogs. She could be found laughing with friends at Bingo every Wednesday night. Donna had a zest for life that was contagious and a beautiful smile to match. She loved making people feel special and always had a knack of finding the most thoughtful gifts for others just when they needed it the most. Donna will truly be remembered for her caring nature, genuine personality, and warm embrace.

Donna’s true passion in life was roller skating. For over 20 years she could be found in a roller skating rink many nights of the week, practicing for competitions and spending time with friends. Donna was a Northeast Regional Champion and United States National Champion. She will be dearly missed by her coaches, friends, and family in the roller skating community.

Donna always saw Robin Red Breast birds as signs of good luck and good times. We hope that every time you see a Robin Red Breast, you will think of Donna and smile.

In addition to her husband Donna is survived by her children, Kerry McKeon of Chelmsford, James R. McKeon, III and his wife, Anne' of South Africa, Nicholas J.
