Aileen A. Belanger Obituary (1935 - 2015)

Tyngsboro Aileen A. (Brown) (Campbell) Belanger, 80, a resident of Tyngsboro and former resident of Chelmsford passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at DYouville Senior Care in Lowell. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Belanger who died in 2013, and the late Joseph T. Campbell who died in 1986. She was born in Doncaster, England on April 2, 1935 and was a daughter of the late Stephen and Elizabeth (White) Brown. She received her education in England. Prior to her retirement, Aileen was employed as a production supervisor by Fisons Corp. She was an avid knitter and donated many of her knitted items to the House of Hope and to New Hampshire Public Television where the items were sold at auction to raise funds. Aileen also enjoyed gardening and playing Bingo. Aileen is survived by four children, Stephen Campbell and his wife Carol of Billerica, Kevin Campbell and his companion Donna Hughes of Chelmsford, Christine Campbell and her companion Ernest Butch Bergeron of Tyngsboro, and Sean Campbell and his partner Scott Soly of Nashua, NH; eight grandchildren, Erin Powderly, Nicole Gauvreau, Elizabeth Campbell, James Campbell, Kathleen Campbell, Ashley Campbell, Alexandra Weld, and Amanda Soly; three great grandchildren, a sister Joan Gregory and her husband James of Sale, England; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Anne Marie Campbell, the mother-in-law of the late Joanne Campbell, and the sister of the late Anthony Brown. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 until 7 pm at the Blake Funeral Home, 24 Worthen Street, Chelmsford. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 9 oclock at St. Mary Church, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment in Fairview Cemetery in N. Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Aileen's memory to the House of Hope, 812 Merrimack St., Lowell, MA 01854.
