Alexandra Doukas

NORTH CHELMSFORD Alexandra (Kantzos) Doukas, 93, a resident of North Chelmsford passed away on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013 at Lowell General Hospital in the company of her family. She was the beloved wife of the late John Doukas who died in Greece in 1977.

She was born in Kastellia Fokidas, Greece on Nov. 25, 1919, and was the daughter of the late Gregory and Leluda (Eleftriou) Kantzos.

Alexandra is survived by her 3 children; Kalliope Popi Regas of Quincy, Leluda Lola Tsingos and her husband George of N. Chelmsford, and Anastasios Taso Doukas of N. Chelmsford, 8 grandchildren; Fotios Tsingos, Chrisanthi Tsingos, Leonidas and Voula Siakos, Nikolaos and Yianna Tsatsaklas, George Regas, Spiro Regas, Katerina Regas, and Yianni Regas, 3 great grandchildren, and her brother Nikolaos Kantzos of Athens, Greece.

Visiting hours have been omitted. Alexandras Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 12:30pm at the Holy Trinity Hellenic Orthodox Church, 62 Lewis St. Lowell. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery, Main St. North Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alexandras memory may be made to the Holy Trinity Hellenic Orthodox Church, 62 Lewis St. Lowell, MA 01854.
