Ann T Baraldi Obituary (1933 - 2012)

CHELMSFORD-Ann T. (ONeill) Baraldi, 78, a longtime Chelmsford resident, formerly of Billerica, passed away Sunday February 5, 2012 at Brigham & Womens Hospital in the company of her loving family. She was the dearly beloved wife of John J. Baraldi to whom she had been happily married for 57 years. She was born on September 25, 1933 in Somerville and was the daughter of the late Michael and Ellen (Whooley) ONeill. Ann had many interests and was very active in her community. She was a faithful communicant of St. Mary Parish. She loved spending time outdoors and tending her gardens. Ann also enjoyed restoring antique cars, a hobby she shared with her husband John. Ann was a volunteer with the American Red Cross and was an honorary member of the Howe HS/Billerica Memorial HS Alumni Assoc. She looked forward to their summers spent in Kennebunk, ME. Ann and John enjoyed traveling, including visiting her family in Ireland. More than anything else Ann loved her family and was happiest when spending time with her children and grandchildren. In addition to her loving husband, Ann is survived by her children; Michael Baraldi and his wife Jennifer, John Baraldi, Jr. and his wife Susan, Stephen Baraldi and his wife Carol, and Nancy Baraldi-Lucey all of Chelmsford, and Juliann & Alberto Prez of Vienna, VA; and 13 grandchildren; Kristina Malnati and her husband Erik, Michael, Jr. and Elizabeth Baraldi, John III and Blair Baraldi, Marie, Cara, and Stephen Baraldi, Jr., Erin, Evan, and Christopher Lucey, and Ricardo and Marissa Prez. She is also survived by her sisters Jean ONeill of Billerica, and Ellen Miller of New Mexico, brother Hugh ONeill of Hollis, NH, sisters-in-law Anna Baraldi and Marguerite Cataldo, and brother-in-law Richard Baraldi all of Billerica, and many nieces and nephews. Ann will also be missed by her dear friend Barbara Christenson of Chelmsford. She was sister of the late Mary Louise ONeill and mother-in-law of the late Sean Lucey who passed away in November. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 4 to 8 pm at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen St., CHELMSFORD. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11 oclock at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford.
