Anne M Carr Obituary (1931 - 2015)

CHELMSFORD-Anne M. (Murphy) Carr, 84, of Chelmsford, formerly of Hudson, NH, passed away on Tues, December 22, 2015 at Pilgrim Rehabilitation Center in Peabody. Beloved wife of the late Francis J. Carr, Jr. Born in Cambridge on February 1, 1931, she was a daughter of the late John J. and Ellen M. (Power) Murphy. Anne took great pleasure in caring for and spending time with her family. She enjoyed knitting and baking, and will be fondly remembered as a fabulous cook. She is survived by her daughters Judi Carr and her husband Dana Currier of Danvers, and Ellen Mary Carr of North Andover, daughter-in-law Kristi (Bell) Carr, and her beloved grandchildren; Tim, Matt, and Geoff Currier, and Ruairi, Liam, Eamon, and Ronan OCearuil. She is also survived by a brother Paul Murphy and his wife Ann of Wellesley, her in-laws; Eleanor McCarron and her husband George, William A. Carr of Medford, and Janet (Carr) Hart and her husband Mike of Cape Cod. Anne was predeceased by her son Francis J. Jay Carr, III, and her son-in-law, Sean OCearuil, and her siblings; Andrew Murphy, Julia Kingham, John Murphy, Loretta Welch, and Joseph Murphy. Visitation Saturday from 8:30 to 10:30 am at the Blake Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford followed by her Funeral Mass at 11 oclock at St. John the Evangelist Parish, 115 Middlesex St., N. Chelmsford. Interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Annes name may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
