Annette A. Woodlock

HOLLIS, NH Annette A. (Martel) Woodlock, 71, a resident of Hollis, NH and former longtime resident of Chelmsford died Friday, May 18th following an extended illness, with her family by her side. She was the wife of Edward J. Woodlock, to whom she has been married for 52 years.

She was born in Fall River on August 10, 1940, and was a daughter of Doris (Fleury) McGrath of Tyngsboro and the late Henry Martel. She received her education at the Immaculate Conception School in Revere.

Prior to her retirement, Annette was employed for 25 years as a nurses aide at Sunny Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Chelmsford. She was a devoted caregiver and had a great love for caring for the elderly and children.

In addition to her husband and mother, Annette is survived by her four sons, Steven Woodlock and his wife Deb of Plano, TX, Richard Woodlock of Chelmsford, Ronald Woodlock and his wife Ellen of Wells, ME, and Michael Woodlock and his wife Keliann of Lowell; her daughter, Laurie Pomerleau and her husband Brett of Pepperell; six grandchildren, Ashley Pomerleau, Kyle Woodlock, Alanna Woodlock, Anna Woodlock, Thomas Woodlock, and Kate Woodlock; three sisters, Joyce Croce and her husband Henry of Tyngsboro, Carol Spavento and her husband James of Tyngsboro, and Dian Bobola of Rockville, MD; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Raymond Martel.

Visitation will be held at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, CHELMSFORD, on Tuesday from 4 until 8PM. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9:30AM at St. Margaret Parish, 374 Stevens St. Lowell. Interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Annettes name to the Lowell General Hospital Cancer Center, 295 Varnum Avenue, Lowell, MA 01854.
