B. Louise Greene Obituary (1921

LOWELL-B. Louise Greene, RN, 90, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died Sunday, April 8, 2012 at DYouville Senior Care in Lowell. She was born in Lowell on July 2, 1921, and was the daughter of the late Robert and Blanche (Mason) Greene. She received her education in Lowell schools and was a graduate of Lowell High School. She was also a graduate of Lowell General Hospital School of Nursing. Louise began her nursing career as a nurse supervisor at Lowell General Hospital. She then went on to work as a private duty nurse and was employed for many years as a nurse supervisor by DYouville Senior Care prior to her retirement. She was a member of Eliot Presbyterian Church in Lowell and the Lowell General Hospital School of Nursing Alumni Association. Louise was survived by her sister-in-law Catherine Greene, RN, of Chelmsford; two nieces, Gayle Greene-Aguirre and her husband Gilbert Aguirre of McHenry, MS and Carolyn Greene and her husband David Hathaway of Underhill Ctr., VT; and many cousins. She was also the sister of the late Charles Greene and George Greene. The Greene family would like to thank the staff of DYouville Senior Care for the care and compassion they showed to Louise during her time there. It being her wish, Funeral Services will be private. Interment in Lowell Cemetery.
