Carol M. Chipman Obituary (1947 - 2013)

CHELMSFORD Carol M. (Manderbach) Chipman, age 66, a resident of Chelmsford, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Lawrence General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Stephen G. Chipman with whom she celebrated 43 years of marriage on May 23rd. She was born in Philadelphia on March 10, 1947 and was a daughter of Reverend Aaron Manderbach of Reading, CT and the late Emma (Hollander) Manderbach. Carol was employed as a Radiation Therapist at Brigham & Womens Hospital until her children were born. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Chelmsford where she attended the Thursday morning Bible Study group. She enjoyed creating wreaths and floral arrangements to decorate her home. Carol also liked traveling and spending winters in Florida in the family motor coach. In addition to her loving husband, Carol is survived by her daughters; Beth Riel of Manchester, NH and Susan Chipman of Chelmsford, grandson, Timothy Riel of Manchester, NH, her twin sister Linda Baker of Dublin, Ohio, sister Judy White of Sutton, NH and brother Aaron Manderbach, Jr. of Middle Bass Island, OH and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at the Blake Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. Relatives and friends are asked to meet at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 242 Boston Rd., Chelmsford on Monday at 1 oclock for her Funeral Service. Interment will be private.
