Christina Barzyk Obituary (1962 - 2018)

LOWELL- Christina Barzyk, 55, of Lowell, formerly of Chelmsford, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday January 4, 2018 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Christina was born in Boston, a daughter of Frederick F. and Ruth Eileen (Smith) Barzyk of Chelmsford. She was raised in Chelmsford and was a graduate of Chelmsford High School class of 1981. Prior to her illness, Christina had been employed for over 20 years at Zwicker and Associates, P.C. in Andover. In addition to her parents, Christina leaves her fiance; John McCarthy of Chelmsford, her siblings; Robert Barzyk and his partner Irene McLoughlin of New York, NY and Allison Barzyk Gould and her husband Ian Byrne of Townsend. She also leaves her niece Natalie, and nephews Alexander and Aaron. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Thursday, January 11th from 4:00-7:00 pm in the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen Street, Chelmsford. Her graveside service will be held on Friday at 10 o'clock at Pine Ridge Cemetery, 130 Billerica Rd., Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers donations in Christina's name may be made to the Lowell Humane Society, 951 Broadway St., Lowell, MA 01854.
