Claire M. Trongone Obituary (2013)

CHELMSFORD Claire M. Trongone, 82, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Lowell General Hospital. She was born in Boston on June 7, 1930 and was the daughter of the late George B. and Sue (Monaco) Trongone. Claire was a graduate of Malden High School. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a Property Manager at Mitre Corporation for 26 years. Claire spent a great deal of time volunteering at the Chelmsford Senior Center, St. Mary Parish, and the Lowell General Hospital Gift Shop, as well as local blood drives and TSL. Claire is survived by her daughter Karen Ducharme and her fianc Kevin Casserly, granddaughters Kristy Noel and Kerry Brent and her husband Peter, and great granddaughters Lexi, Ava, and Maisa, and great grandson Pierce. She is also survived by a brother Robert Trongone and his wife Barbara, sister Norma Fenochietti and her husband Edward, many nephews and a niece and her close friends Sandy Gorley and Claire Hibbard. She was predeceased by her brother George Trongone. Visiting hours on Sunday from 12 to 4 pm at the BLAKE FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen St., CHELMSFORD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 9 oclock at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford. Private interment in Marshfield, MA.
