Deborah M. Perciballi

Deborah M. (Collins) Perciballi, a longtime Chelmsford resident, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Somerville on November 6, 1935, and was the daughter of the late William Joseph and Mary (ORourke) Collins.

Deborah was raised in Somerville and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in East Cambridge. Following graduation, Deborah worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology before raising her children. She lived in Texas, Delaware, and California before settling in Chelmsford in 1963. She was a founding member of the Hitchinpost Country Dwellers, spent time visiting her family home in Bruree, County Limerick Ireland, and in later years was active at the Chelmsford and Westford Senior Centers where she enjoyed the company of her friends.

Deborah leaves her children, John Perciballi and his wife Brenda, of Pensacola, FL, Marianne Hirsch and her husband Mark, of Fairport, NY, Michael Perciballi and his wife Susan, of Groton, MA, and William Perciballi and his wife Shannon, of Phoenix, AZ; her nine grandchildren, Drew Perciballi and his wife Kathryn, Brianne Coco and her husband Bryan, Collin Perciballi, Kristin Hirsch and her husband James Dong, Laura Hirsch, Chelsea Iovino and her husband Nicholas, Edward Perciballi and his wife Hannah, Nicolo Perciballi and William Perciballi. Deborah also leaves her three great grandchildren, Michael Perciballi, Richard Perciballi, and Gianna Perciballi, along with Nicholas Iovino due August 2023.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023, from 4 -7 pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen Street, Chelmsford. A Liturgy of the Word will be held on June 24, 2023, at 11 am at St. Marys Parish, 25 North Road, Chelmsford. KINDLY GATHER AT THE CHURCH. Interment to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Westford. Memorial donations may be made in Deborahs name to the Chelmsford Senior Center, 75 Groton Rd., No. Chelmsford, MA 01863, the Cameron Senior Center, 20 Pleasant St., Westford, MA 01886 or to a charity of your choice.
