Delia M. (Paquette) Loiselle, age 94, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away peacefully at D’Youville Senior Care, Lowell on Saturday, September 26, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Gerald Loiselle and the late James Loomis.
She was born in Dracut on June 26, 1932, and was the daughter of the late Alfred and Delia (Blanchard) Paquette.
Delia was raised in Dracut and settled in Chelmsford upon her marriage to her husband Gerald where they raised their four boys. She lived a life marked by faith, love, and JOY, her favorite word. A devoted Christian, she found strength and purpose in her faith and shared that love with everyone around her. She was a woman who could find joy in the simple things-quilting, traveling to new places, dancing to good music, cooking and, most of all, being surrounded by the people she loved. She volunteered for many organizations.
Her family was the greatest treasure of her life. She was most proud of her four sons. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and loved ones, creating memories that will be carried in their hearts for generations to come. She had a positive spirit and a joyful heart, always ready with a smile, a kind word, or a reason to celebrate. Her life was a beautiful reminder to embrace each moment, love deeply, dance often, and cherish the gift of family.
Delia leaves her four sons, Roger Loiselle and his wife Elizabeth of Chelmsford, Gerald Loiselle and his wife Susan of Chelmsford, Andrew Loiselle and his wife Sherry of Merrimack, NH, and Albert Loiselle and his wife Judy of Pepperell; her grandchildren Kristen and husband Derek Morris, Michael and wife Amy Loiselle, Gerald, Jr. and wife Dana Loiselle, Brad and wife Izzy Loiselle, Andrew and wife Taylor Loiselle, Brianne Loiselle, Matthew Loiselle and fiancé Jackie Scaraggi, Corie and husband Ryan Hess, and Ryan Loiselle and fiancé Keri-Lynn McCarthy; her 13 great-grandchildren; her siblings Lucien Paquette, Cecile Hinxman, Dorothy Torres, and Leo Paquette and his wife Susan; and her sisters-in-law Arlene Paquette (Raymond’s wife) of and Linda Paquette (Andrew’s wife).
