Edmond G 'Tony' Rousseau Obituary (1937 - 2018)

CHELMSFORD - Edmond "Tony" G. Rousseau, 81, a resident of Chelmsford for 50 years, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 3, 2018 at Lowell General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Bertha A. (Surette) Rousseau to whom he has been happily married for 56 years. He was born in Keene, NH on August 19, 1937 and was a son of the late Edmond J. and Gertrude (Henry) Rousseau. Tony loved restoring antique cars, especially his '61 Mercedes, and was a fan of auto racing. He enjoyed keeping an eye on the ups and downs of the stock market. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a brother, Gerald P. Rousseau of Keene, NH, cousin Russell Page and his wife Midge of North Swanzey, NH, and his aunts; Peggy Cotter of Concord, NH and Joyce Miller of Bellows Falls, VT and several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 9:30 to 11:30 at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. His Funeral Service will begin at 11:30 am at the Funeral Home, followed by interment in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford.
