Eileen Anderson Obituary (1923 - 2012)

Anderson, Eileen a longtime resident of Chelmsford, formerly of Long Island, New York died peacefully at Hannah Duston Healthcare Center in Haverhill, MA surrounded by her family on February 29th 2012. She was born March 3rd 1923 in Queens, New York and was the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Mary (Sterhof) Lappin. Eileen retired from Citibank in New York and was one of the first employees of Citibank MasterCard. Eileen loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Reading, knitting and needlepoint were her favorite pastimes. Eileen is survived by her 4 children; Lois E. Gorham and her husband William, Janis J. Tramontano and her husband Thomas, John R. Anderson, and James P. Varca and his wife Kate; seven grandchildren; John F.Anderson, Bill Gorham, Nancy Gorham-Barravecchio, Guy Gorham, Michael Tramontano, Alex Tramontano and Jack Varca, and 6 great-grandchildren Billy Gorham, Eric Gorham, Tyler Barravecchio, Mary Barravecchio , Ethan Tramontano and Isabella Tramontano. Eileen will also be missed by her dear friend Rita Keene. Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, March 16, 2012 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 2 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
