Emily R. Shepard Obituary (1996 - 2018) - Chelmsford, Massachusetts

It is with deep sadness that the family of Emily R. Shepard had to say goodbye to her on March 30, 2018. She was a beautiful and talented young woman who brought joy to many. For the past few years, Emily was battling an addiction that she tried so very hard to overcome. Emily was born on December 2, 1996, the only daughter of Christopher L. Shepard of Westford, MA and Karen S. (Jamer) Shepard of Chelmsford, MA. She was educated at Nashoba Technical High School, Tyngsboro High School and Westford Academy. Emily had been periodically employed by Dunkin Donuts. Lovingly referred to as a "goofball" Tweety Bird and Emalem by her family, Emily found the happy and silly side to everything. She could light up a room and make everything feel like its going to be alright just with her smile. Her disposition was bubbly and bright and unmistakable. She was passionate about make-up and had a natural talent for cosmetology. As a young girl, Emily tried soccer and gymnastics but found her passion in Dance and music. It was rare to not see Emily dancing her day away. She will be missed every day by those who loved her so much. In addition to her parents, Emily is survived by her siblings, Joe Boswell and his wife, Ashley of Litchfield, NH, Cody Boswell and his girlfriend, Amanda Warnock of Chelmsford; a niece, Aurora Boswell of Chelmsford; her maternal grandparents, William and Susan Jamer of Chelmsford; her paternal grandparents, Jack and Rita Shepard of Barefoot Bay, FL; aunts and uncles, Jill & Mike Ricard of Billerica, Billy & Brooke Jamer of Nashua, Paul Harrison of Chelmsford, Tom & Cinda Shepard of Meredith, NH, John & Kim Shepard of Harrisburg, PA; many cousins and dear friends. Visitation will be held on Friday April 6, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen Street, Chelmsford. Interment will be held privately.
