Florence C Parent Obituary (1928

CHELMSFORD Florence C. (MacKinnon) Parent, 88, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Lowell General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of John J. Parent. She was born in Malden on April 24, 1928, a daughter of the late James and Mary Ann (Gillis) MacKinnon. Florence was raised and educated in Malden and has resided in Chelmsford with her husband Jack since 1978, after moving here from Topsfield. Florence was a partner in Dean & Flynn of Seabrook, NH until her retirement in 2003. In addition to her loving husband, Florence is survived by her children; John Parent, III of Lawrence, Christopher and his wife Marceline of Westford, Julie of New York City, Suzanne and her husband Andrew Goldman of Malvern, PA and granddaughters; Svea Hall of Cambridge, Inger Parent of Westford, and Sarah and Mollie Goldman of Malvern, PA. She also leaves a sister Edna Forbes and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1 to 4 pm at the Blake Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. Her Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday at 11 oclock at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Burial will follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford.
