Frances Claire Williams

Frances Claire (Bucci) Williams, 88, a resident of Stoneham, formerly of Chelmsford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Emerson Hospital, Concord, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late William A. Williams with whom she shared 30 years of marriage until his passing in 2006.

She was born in Medford on July 22, 1935, and was the daughter of the late Vincent Paul and Mary Margaret (Sweeney) Bucci.

Frances was raised in Medford, MA, and graduated from Medford High School in 1955. Frances was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who opened her home to all.

Frances leaves her children, Edmund OBrien Jr. of Middleboro, Claire Ryan of Lunenburg, Christopher Williams of Westford, and stepson William R. Williams of Marietta, Georgia. William and Frances had 9 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren collectively. She also leaves her brother, Vincent Bucci of Lynnfield; her cousin, Elizabeth Holland of Marshfield; and numerous other cousins, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her husband, Frances was predeceased by her brother, John Bucci.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 5 7 pm at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., Chelmsford. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, February 9, at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Interment to follow in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford. Memorial donations may be made in her name to Mystic Valley Elder Services at mves.org/donate-now.
