George Nicholas Klesaris Obituary (1931 - 2018)

George N. Klesaris, 87, a longtime resident of North Chelmsford, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Lowell General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Stella M. (Skypeck) Klesaris with whom he would have celebrated 60 years of marriage in August. He was born in Somerville on February 2, 1931 and was a son of the late Nicholas and Faye (Harris) Klesaris. George was a veteran of the United States Air Force having served during the Korean War. George was a teacher in the Chelmsford School System for 35 years. He was also a coach for the Chelmsford High School football team and refereed high school basketball. George was a sports enthusiast, an avid golfer and also a longstanding member of the Longmeadow Golf Club in Lowell. He was the co-owner of Chelmsford Auto School for many years. In addition to his loving wife, George is survived by his children; George M. Klesaris of Chelmsford, Christopher Klesaris and his wife Stephenie, and Karine Muir and her husband William of Milford, three grandchildren; Natalie, Gregory and Samantha, and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves a brother Peter Klesaris and his wife Elsie of Florida. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 5 to 8 pm at the BLAKE CHELMSFORD FUNERAL HOME, 24 Worthen St., CHELMSFORD.
