Georgia Emanouil Obituary (1920 - 2014)

HOLLIS, NH Georgia (Lampropoulos) Emanouil, 94, of Hollis, NH, formerly of Chelmsford, MA, and Springhill, FL, passed away at her home August 4, 2014. Georgia was born in Lowell, MA, May 15, 1920, the daughter of the late Andrew and Zafiro (Kougis) Lampropoulos of Lowell, MA. She was the wife of the late James Emanouil, to whom she was married 59 years before his death in 2011. She is survived by her daughter Valerie (Emanouil) and her husband Gerard Paynter of Brookline, NH; granddaughters Jennifer (Roy) and her husband Keith Campbell of Littleton, MA; Melissa Greenwood-Hitchcock and her husband Scott Hitchcock of Springfield, VT; and Julie Greenwood of Bellows Falls, VT; and great-granddaughters Madison and Savannah Greenwood-Hitchcock, Emma Spaulding, and Daphne Campbell. She is also survived by one sister, Helen Fokas of Henderson, NV; and many nieces and nephews. Georgia was predeceased by her daughter Ann C. (Emanouil) Greenwood of Bellows Falls, VT. Visitation will be held at St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church, 500 West Hollis St., Nashua, Friday, August 8 from 10 to 11 am. Her funeral service will begin at 11 o'clock. Interment in Westlawn Cemetery, Lowell, MA.
